That all-time mark is 19 weeks, shared by Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" and Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)." Variety noted that the milestone left "Choosin' Texas" alone in fourth place among the longest No. 1 streaks ever. A week later she's climbed even higher on that list.

For context, the only reign that still tops hers outright over a full calendar is Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and that one needed multiple holiday seasons to bank its total. What Langley has done, she's done in one continuous stretch, on a country single, in a single year.

This isn't a streaming fluke or a radio-only story. The Hot 100 weighs streams, airplay and sales together, and "Choosin' Texas" keeps showing up across all three while the rest of her catalog climbs behind it, per Holler.
