ABOUT THE SONG
The closest thing Dandelion has to a feel-good single. 'loving life again' is a recovery song that refuses to sound like one — no triumphant key change, no big emotional reveal. Just a quiet declaration that the bad stretch is over and the small good days are stacking up.
Aaron Raitiere's fingerprints are on the lyrical economy here: every line does double duty. Ashley Gorley brought the melodic backbone. Bundy's production is sunlit — acoustic-led, with a Wurlitzer that comes in halfway through the first verse and stays for the rest of the song. Backing vocals on the bridge are tracked by Hailey Whitters, uncredited.
It's the song that opens most Dandelion Tour shows in 2026. Ella has talked about choosing it as the show-opener specifically because it sets a tone — quiet confidence, not big-arena spectacle. The crowd reaction at the Ryman taping (released on her YouTube channel) is worth watching: by the second chorus, the entire room is singing it back without prompting.
