Nine at Once: Ella Just Filled Up the Hot Country Songs Chart
On the latest Hot Country Songs chart Ella has nine titles on the board at the same time, from the No. 1 single all the way down to album cuts we love.
We've been picking apart Ella's individual chart lines all spring — the 26 weeks at No. 1, the three Country Airplay top 10s at once — and then we pulled up the full Hot Country Songs page this week and just laughed. As Parade reports, on the chart dated for the week of June 6 she has nine songs charting at the same time. Not nine over the year. Nine right now, sitting on the board together.
Counting all nine
The top three is the part everyone screenshots: "Choosin' Texas" at No. 1, "Be Her" at No. 2, and her Morgan Wallen duet "I Can't Love You Anymore" at No. 3. But the reason we keep staring is everything underneath. "Loving Life Again" is up at No. 8, and both "Dandelion" and "Bottom of Your Boots" landed inside the top 20. Then come the deeper cuts — her Miranda Lambert duet "Butterfly Season," plus "Broken" and "You & Me Time" — rounding the count out to nine.
Why the depth matters more than the peak
A No. 1 single tells you one song connected. Nine simultaneous entries tells you the whole Dandelion record is being pulled apart and played on its own terms, track by track, two months after release. That's the difference between a hit and a catalog, and it's the kind of line that usually belongs to artists a decade further into a career.
For context on how rare the upper end of this is: back on the chart dated May 9, Ella became just the second woman ever to claim the entire top three of Hot Country Songs, matching a mark Beyoncé set for a single week in 2024. A month later she's still holding that podium and stacking six more songs behind it.
It also lines up with what we wrote when she crossed 30 million monthly Spotify listeners — the streaming numbers and the chart depth are telling the same story from two directions. If you're trying to see her do all of this live, the Dandelion Tour dates and the Morgan Wallen stadium run are where the album cuts turn into singalongs. Already holding tickets? We'll keep watching to see how long she keeps nine plates spinning at once.
