ABOUT THE SONG
What does 'you look like you love me' mean? It is, in Langley's words, 'a cute little love song'. In the first spoken verse she is 22, alone at a bar, until she sees a cowboy dancing, walks up, hands him a beer and confesses she has fallen for him. In the second verse Riley Green speaks from the cowboy's side and returns the feeling, and they sing the last chorus together.
Langley first wrote it with Aaron Raitiere; Green heard it on tour and wrote the second verse. Will Bundy produced it. It came out June 21, 2024 ahead of her debut album Hungover, went to country radio in August 2024, and became her first Billboard Hot 100 entry.
It reached #1 on Billboard Country Airplay (her first) and #30 on the Hot 100, and the RIAA has certified it 4x Platinum. It won Musical Event of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, Single of the Year at the 2025 ACM Awards, and Video of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards.
