Ella Langley at the Greek Theatre: LA Preview for October 13 and 14

Ella Langley plays two nights at LA's Greek Theatre, October 13 and 14, with Laci Kaye Booth and Kameron Marlowe. What's confirmed about timing, what she's been playing, and what to know before you go.

GOING TO THE SHOW?

Get ready for the show

Lock in tickets before prices move, then gear up — and if you're travelling in, sort your stay and ride below.

Ella Langley plays the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles tonight, Tuesday, October 13, and again tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14. Laci Kaye Booth opens, Kameron Marlowe plays second, and Ella headlines, according to her official tour listing. Ticket listings give a 7:10 PM start for both nights. The Greek hasn't published a per-act schedule, so we don't have an exact time for when Ella goes on, and we're not going to make one up.

Timing: what we know and what we don't

  • Start time: 7:10 PM on ticket listings for both nights.
  • Doors: The venue hasn't posted a time we could confirm. Check your ticket.
  • Ella's set time: Not published. For comparison only: at recent arena shows with a 7:00 start, setlist.fm users logged Ella going on around 9:00 PM (Columbus and Red Rocks). The Greek is a different kind of venue with its own schedule, so treat that as a rough guide, not a set time.

If the Greek posts real set times, they'll go on the night one set-times page and the night two page.

What she's been playing

We won't predict the LA setlist, but we can tell you what recent shows looked like. At Red Rocks on October 7 she played 20 songs in the main set plus a two-song encore. She opened with "Dandelion," and the main set ended with "Be Her", "you look like you love me", "Loving Life Again", "Choosin' Texas" and "weren't for the wind". The encore was the Toby Keith cover "Wish I Didn't Know Now" and "That's Why We Fight." On nights when Laci Kaye Booth is on the bill, as she is in LA, Ella has usually brought her out to sing Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams," and Kameron Marlowe has joined her for "Strangers." We'll post each night's real setlist on the night one and night two setlist pages once it's logged.

These are her first shows since Tulsa was canceled over a security threat. In Lubbock the next night she talked about it from the stage, so don't be surprised if it comes up again.

Greek Theatre basics

The Greek is an outdoor amphitheatre of about 5,900 seats in Griffith Park, much smaller than the arenas on this tour. A few things to plan for:

  • Parking: The Greek uses stacked parking, which is slow to empty after the show. Rideshare or getting there early will save you a long wait.
  • Weather: October nights in Griffith Park get cool after sunset. Bring a light layer.
  • Two nights: If one night is tight on tickets, check the other. Prices and availability are on the night one and night two show pages. Compare the total at checkout before you buy.

After LA

Next up is Redwest Festival in Salt Lake City on Friday, October 16. Then the last run of fall dates starts in Des Moines on October 29 and ends in Saint Paul on October 31. All dates are on the tour page.
